What was Crown's connection with the bank?

What was Crown's connection with the bank? How did the cops get his name to begin with? As a high profile customer? Was he a bank officer or director? How did the cops come to the conclusion it was an inside job to begin with at the top level of the bank?

He had to be part owner of the bank, or on the board or something.

I always thought it would have been a scream if they had revealed he was the owner of the bank and stole his own money. Well the depositors.

But he had a big connection to the bank otherwise they would never have known.
they figured it out too easily if you ask me.

No connection to the bank as far as I know. Vicki first got on to Crown by cross checking airline records to see who had traveled to Switzerland multiple times since the robbery. He was one of eight the record search turned up and her instincts told her he was the one.

Very Good wsm66! I thought Crown chose that first bank because it was right out side his office window -- so he could watch, which would only add to his excitment. Much like an arsonist likes to watch the fire he started.
