The characters are so fake, it makes me want to vomit. What an awful movie. I would've better spent my time staring at a blank wall.

Perhaps my word choice was poor. The characters are stereotypical to the point of fakeness.
shareIn my time that I have dealt with smart, rich, confident people is that they are boring and fake. This goes along with new money that they have gotten. If they are not born into this wealth, they try to stick in your back as to "watch Out"
This also depends on how they have acquired that money to make them rich. Old World money from Europe like the Vanderbuilts, the Rothchilds and so on stay with their wealth. They are by far, NOt fake.
I have a in-laws with new money and they are rude, inconsiderate and fake.
I was born into Old World Money which has been lost to the Germans during WWII.
Both my grandparents on my fathers side could of stayed in Russia or Germany with the outbreak of World War I.
I have old wealth which is invested but I would never be aloof, or fake to let anybody know.
Isn't that the way of the world? To let people guessing as to what money you have or have not.
My nephew was a criminal and spent time in stir, but his booze and drugs cost him his life.
