Dunaway kidnaps the guy's son

to blackmail him to help her?

Stealing is worse than kidnapping?

She's lucky the guy didn't rip off her blouse and strangle her to death with it.

What he should have done was told them that they just gave him leverage against them. He could have told them to leave him alone or face felony kidnapping charges. The insurance company would have fired her and she would face prison time. The police couldn't use his testimony anyway because it was coerced.

It was as ridiculous as her intuitively recognizing him as the mastermind behind the robbery, by suddenly seeing a photo of him. LOL! There's your man! And then she proceeded to suddenly understand how they pulled the robbery off, without actually doing anything investigative, apart from jumping on Eddy's desk or something. Laughable! The movie may have been more critically accepted if the plot hadn't been so contrived and she hadn't seemed so unlike a high-powered investigator.🐭

That was the same way the feds knew OBL pulled off 9/11 5 minutes after the twin towers collapsed.

Someone saw a photo of OBL and said it's him, he did it, yeah that's the ticket!
