The bells

About 40 minutes in, when the first Pope dies, the reporter (David Janssen) hears bells ringing & so knows that the Pope has died. He says something about the bells being at the Arca Della Campani (SP?), which ring only at the death of a Pope.

Is this real? Do the bells of Arca Della Campani ring only then?

Do you have Sirius/XM satellite radio? If you do, turn to Sirius ch. 159/XM ch.117 and listen for the Catholic Guy Radio Show. You can call in at 1-800-3-CATHOLIC, and ask Lino Rulli--The Catholic Guy--that very question. He is a trained theologian so he'll know the answer.

I hope that helps. Oh, and his show is hillarious!

The New York Rangers suck. And Sidney Crosby is a cry baby!

First, my apologies for taking so long to get back to you.

Second, thank you. I don't get XM radio, but I'll see if he has a website that I can go through.
