Disturbing, but good

I don't like Roman Polanski, so heaven knows why I decided to watch this. Possibly because it's such a talked about film.

It is said that Witchcraft is the fastest growing religion in the USA. Well, often things in movies are depictions of real life. This may well be one of them.

The acting in this film was really good from all sides. Those nosy neighbors were really annoying, however they played their part. Rosemary was such a lovely woman, and was so innocent. Unbelievable how she was violated.

The film is beautiful filmed. It does leave you with a sense of horror of what people are capable of, whether you believe in witchcraft or not. Eyes Wide Shut is another tale of what people are capable of.

I'm glad I watched this, but won't revisit it again.

It's a masterpiece. The 'apartment trilogy' (Repulsion (1965), Rosemary's Baby (1968) and The Tenant (1976)) is some of the finest work the horror genre has ever seen.

Thanks for the references.

They're all different but they're all directed by Roman Polanski (who I am a big fan of, as a director), primarily take place in apartments and are all horror/thrillers. A very loosely formed 'trilogy'.

One of the greatest films of all time, no question about it.
