It was a pretty interesting movie until the end. This is somehow supposed to be partly about women's liberation? LOL. She got raped into having a baby, and submits to raising it in a Satan worshiping cult. How dumb.

The ending is masterful. Period.
It's not really about women's lib at all. It's a tragic story about a woman being used and gaslit by the people around her. It's terrifying-- if you wanted an empowerment narrative where good wins, you went to the wrong film. It's incredibly bleak, Rosemary is a tragic figure who feels she has no other choice-- and that's very much the point.
