Did she dream it?

Are we lead to believe that what she was experiencing up til the end was all a dream or a manifestation of her own fears? Since most movies have "plot twists". I do know that the anti-Christ is not supposed to be deformed but be actually an attractive baby. She mentions the eyes are strange. That wouldn't make sense.

In the sequel book 'Son of Rosemary' 1997 by Ira Levin, the baby 'grew out' of his birth form into a handsome man (I wouldn't recommend it, but some parts were ok) & also the tv movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0074815/ which was very different

Wasn't there another sequel (novel) that ended with Rosemary waking up and finding that all the events were all just a dream?

Yes.

The movie would be pointless at 1968 if it wants to tell that everything was a dream. It's what it is: a shocking history to the audience with a unpredictable screenplay.
