Funniest movie I ever saw....

When I first saw this movie a few years ago, I was laughing so hard I got physically ill....I mean coughing....choking...you name it!!!

Peter Sellers is a genius of comedy as all his work proves it...nobody even comes close...period.

This movie was shown on "Bill Collins' Golden Years of Hollywood" in Australia many years ago. I was still at school at the time. I had sat down to channel surf while eating a bowl of potato nuggets. Laughed my guts out through the whole movie. A few years later I met a friend who had taped the show that very night. We watched the video many many times over the years since then. I own the movie on VHS, and also own the original DVD as well. I think I've seen it well over a hundred times, probably more. I know the movie back to front, inside and out. I could draw a floorplan of the house.

By far and away, it is also my favourite comedy movie of all time. I've probably inferred stacks of humor from the movie that even the original director never intended. Like when Divot and Manet walk back from the bathroom, Divot shakes the General's hand while walking past him, then the General sniffs his hand to find that it stinks of fish. Draw your own conclusions, Clutterbuck..
