You can buy it from www.deepdiscountdvd.com for about $14. That's where I got mine....right after my dad bought his at Suncoast for like $20.

I haven't seen a DVD, but it's on VCD!
(Since I am from India, it doesn't count, I think)
May be it's not so popular here.
Anyway, the Party (DVD) is listed in amazon.com. Check it out

Though it's been about five years since I last saw the film, I remember enjoying Seller's performance quite a bit. I do hope they would release the special edition of the film here in the U.S. sometime.

I waited for too long for MGM or Warner's (whoever has the rights to this film in the US) to release the 2-disc UK version here, but finally gave up waiting & ordered from Amazon.co.uk (just click on the UK DVD button on the imdb main page for this film).

The UK 2-DVD Special Edition is even cheaper (for the time being) than the US version! If you live in the US, their final price is usually (about 17%) cheaper than listed on the amazon.co.uk page, because they subtract the V.A.T. from what you would owe them.

In the US or Canada, if you don't yet have a multi-system DVD player, buy the Philips 642 DVD player (www.amazon.com has them, as well as Target or CompUSA). It's about US$70 & will play almost anything you place in it, even CDs or DVDs with avi files (of the "divx" or "xvid" variety). Brilliant!

Then start ordering DVDs you can't get in the US, like "Amelie" with DTS sound or Delicatessen (the 2 disc set is only about US$10!), from www.amazon.co.uk or www.sendit.com!
