The Party consists of: 1. Hrundi bumbling around. 2. Hrundi trying to socialise. 3. Other people doing stupid or crazy things (e.g., the drunk waiter, the protest with the elephant). 4. People getting wet.
Apparently some people think that is a great comedy.

Don't be snooty. Great comedies can often be boiled down to surprisingly simple concepts and tropes.

exactly, that's exactly what I thought after watching it. my gosh, I mean it was painful to watch this movie because it was so unfunny and because it was so boring. and the humor was mostly dumb and not funny. and they do the same comedy routines over and over again. I mean you can only do a certain comedy routine so many times before it gets boring and redundant. and also nothing ever really happens in this movie. and how in the world can you make almost an entire movie about a party? that's not a story and this is not a movie. it's dumb beyond reason and has no intelligence in the storytelling and has no purpose and the story has no purpose.
