Anyone have the SCORE?
Ya know I love the music in this movie, but I can't for the life of me find it anywhere. Does anyone have it? If so could you e-mail it to me or something? That'd be fantastic....

I saw this movie ages ago and can't really remember anything about it, just came onto it's page to look.
Have you tried the "miscellaneous links" section? It's got a link to a site called Soundtrackcollector.com which has some info.

I've been anxious to hear the score for Witchfinder General (known in the US as The Conqueror Worm) for years. I heard that the music was replaced with inferior synthesizer music for the old VHS video release (now gone, apparently), but I don't know about the theatrical release. My only hope is for it to show up on cable TV on something like Turner Classic Movie Channel.
I suppose there's a slim hope of waiting for a good DVD release.

The Prism DVD release is Region 0, but it's a PAL format. I've seen it on Amazon.com as a Region 4 import from Australia ($18.99), but that's still PAL.
My PAL (multi-region) player can play NTSC okay, but I don't know if NTSC players can cope with PAL. Having said that, I've sent stuff to a friend in the States recorded on my PC on DVD blanks bought here in the UK and he has had no probem playing them on his DVD player. Perhaps someone who knows more about this subject might comment...

The superb Roberto Mann cover version on Deram (as mentioned above) is currently on Ebay - finishing on Jan 8th.
Fabulously rare and well worth bidding for (and no I'm NOT the seller!).

Just another small piece of trivia to add. Simon Bates used to use this piece of music on his morning radio show (UK Radio 1) in the late 70s/early 80s. I think the segment of the show was called "our tune". Anyone remember that?

I'm afraid you have it wrong. The "Our Tune" music was from the 1968 film of Romeo and Juliet, not Witchfinder General.
Some of the less familiar WG music does often crop up in documentaries etc as library music though.
Don't confuse the original score with the awful synth track that's on the US version ("The Conqueror Worm"). More on this thread:
