Hal Linden accent on AIP dub

It is somewhat unsettling to hear Hal Linden doing what sounds like a fake Japanese accent. Seems vaguely racist to have a Caucasian actor doing that kind of accent while dubbing a Japanese character. True, George Takei among others has also done such fake accents while doing dubbing work, but Linden doing it feels a little like Al Jolson donning blackface.

After all these years I never new Hal Linden did a voice for this film.

No problems at all with Hal Linden or the entire group of AIP actors. Definitely superior to those dreaded international dubs Toho issued for their DVD releases in the late 90s and in the 2000s.
