Okay, what do you think would have happened if Alan Arkin's performance as Closeau had gone over better, and became more popular than Sellers' performance? And Arkin continued playing the character? Considering Arkin is still alive, and still acting, what do you think the odds would have been oh the Pink Panther films continuing on longer than they did?

I wish they had rather have cast(ed?) him than Steve Martin, as much as I love other Steve Martin movies and think he's a genius in them.
