My school is doing Funny Girl this year, and I was wondering what male roles there were that a freshman could do. Don't let my age fool you, I've been in various school productions before, my most recent being Mendel in Fiddler On the Roof.
JACK: Never let go, Rose
(she sneezes and drops him.)
ROSE: (after a pause) Oops.
there are loads of role fanny's best friend, Eddy, mr Keeney, the owner of the theatre or maybe even nicky ainstein dont let your age hold you back fro doing the major roles!!

If you read my other post. you'll see that I've been cast already. Thanks for the comment though! I've been cast as Heckie (a cab driver), Mr. Renaldi (a theatrical agent), an actor who has misplaced his wife, and a ticket seller. All of those characters are in scenes with Fanny and the first three all interact with her. Heckie sings a part of "If A Girl Isn't Pretty" and Renaldi starts an argument between Nick and Fanny. The show is going to be great. They are installing a turntable in the stage for scene changes. I can't wait for November 18, 19, 20!
