broadway revival?
This should happen. It needs to happen. Anyone else think this musical needs a bangin' revival?

Although FUNNY GIRL isn't necessarily a "Star Vehicle", there's really no point to a FUNNY GIRL revival without a powerhouse star who can carry not only the superb songs but the weak libretto as well - Streisand was able to do both despite being just short of 22 when the show opened.

Funny Girl was revived in 1996 with Deborah Gibson (yes... her) playing Fanny Brice. It closed in Minneapolis after poor reviews.
