Was Fred Rogers ever asked about SNL Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood?
Being a religious man, I'm sure he never would've watched SNL, and I'm sure his response would've simply been, "I've never seen it".

shareDavid Letterman brought this up in a 1982 interview. Fred Rogers didn't seem upset with Eddie Murphy; he was more concerned about some (unnamed) radio host who was encouraging kids (while imitating Rogers' voice) to engage in dangerous behavior.

He visited Eddie on the set once, and complimented him.
