A new DVD is coming on March 14th, 2006!

Anchor Bay Entertainment released an article back on November 4th saying that the 4th DVD in their series of "neighborhood" programs will be available on March 14th of next year.

The title is "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood: What Do You Do With The Mad That You Feel?"

It will contain 2 episodes on it, just like the other three DVD's, which are titled "Adventures In Friendship", "A Day At The Circus", and "Going To School."

"Going To School" is the most recent one, being released back on August 16th.

Will this show EVER be available in season sets, or will they just keep releasing DVD's with just 2 episodes each?

I have no idea why, but NONE of the local stores here (in Kansas City, MO) are carrying the new Mr. Rogers DVD. I've seen it on amazon.com and target.com, but none in the stores (walMart, Sam's Club, Target, Best Buy, ect.). I had no trouble obtaining the first three DVDs when they came out. Anyone else having a hard time finding it?

reply

yes they are very hard to find. I picked up a couple a few weeks ago and it was a good find because I havent seen them anywhere else.

What I don't understand is why they release to DVD the episodes that still air regularly on PBS. Wouldn't it make more sense to release the older episodes that don't air on PBS anymore? They could be targeted both at adults and children.

Well, I have heard they do have epsiodes on dvd, I don't know how many on each dvd, I would have to asusme the whole week of shows, but it would be nice if they release a lot of the older ones, that aren't shown on PBS, you know the late 670's and most of the 70's epsidoes.
