This show was satanic

OK now that I got everybody's attention, for the record, no I do not consider Mr Roger's Neighborhood to be satanic, however, there are some religious fundamentalists who would. I mean, these people attack just about everything. Mr. Roger's Neighborhood did contain witchcraft with that witch who lived in the merry-go-round, Lady Elaine. She had that magic boomerang and she would go "boomerang tumerang sumerang!" and make stuff happen. The way people are bashing Harry Potter for being satanic nowdays I wouldn't be surprised if they start doing the same with Mr Roger's Neighborhood for that same reason.

The Purple Panda and those freaky purple twins used to really freaked me out bad.Lady Elain Fairchild was the town witch who also was really freaky.Daniel Striped Tiger was really annoying with his shyness and issues, but the worst was Henrettia Pussycat...God, I wished X the OWL would just maul her with his razor sharp talons!

I also really hated Prince Tuesday.

What's wrong with Prince Tuesday?

What's wrong with everyone on this board?

Nothing wrong with Mr. Rodgers at all. Although, I have to admit the first poster did have a point. A lot of Christians bash Harry Potter all the time because of many reasons, but I don't think they'd bash this show. He was a Christian, after all. So am I, and I have no problem with either one.

If that Lady Elain Witch was in my neighorhood, I get a mob equipped with torches and pitchforks, surrround her museumgoround and start chanting "Burn the Witch"!! That was the brilliance of Mr.Rogers though, that no matter how freakin screwed up someone was,he taught tolerence. Hmmm, I guess I need to ponder that a bit more :)

That would never happen. X the OWL was way too nonviolent to ever do something like that.

Pretty funny, seeing as how Rogers attended seminary and is an ordained minister.

reply

What's so funny about that?

reply

Nothing, I think you missed the sarcasm. I was pointing out how silly it is to say that a show by a Presbyterian minister is satanic.

reply

No kidding, if you would watch this you'd appreciate him even more...
