Forgotten opera

I was just looking through the list of operas that were performed on this show, and am I the only one who remembers one where everyone was a jungle animal? I distinctly remember giraffes! I think they were Betty Aberlin and Chuck Aber. I saw it maybe five or six years ago, but I still remember it.
Did anyone else see it?

This one is "Josephine, the Short-Necked Giraffe." I think it originally aired in 1989, and it was unique for several reasons. The theme for the week was TITLED "Josephine, the Short-Necked Giraffe" and the opera went on for several days instead of just Friday. Lady Aberlin was a short-necked giraffe who wanted a longer neck, but in the end she learns to appreciate who she is. This was a similar plot to an older opera where Lady Aberlin is a cow who wants to be a potato bug. (played by Chef Brockett) I know a little bit more about the Josephine opera, but you can e-mail me at [email protected] if you want to know more details. These episodes will air the week of Aug. 20 on PBS in 2007.
