Mr. Rogers and the Droid factory?

I very well may be going crazy since I can find absolutely no reference to this on the internet, but I distinctly remember an odd episode, probably from the mid or late '80s, where Mr. Rogers goes to a factory that builds what appears to be R2 units (like R2-D2 of Star Wars fame). It seems bizarre but, upon arrival, I specifically remember him being greeted by one decked out with a tuxedo design on its chassis. Does anyone remember this? Did I dream this? If I didn't, does anyone have any idea what facility this was and why they made R2 clones? Unless given permission (to what end?), seems like there would've been some copyright/licensing issues with that.

This has been bugging me off and on for years and I can find no mention of such a weird occurence so if anyone remembers this visit or has any more information about that place, please chime in...

If you go through Amazon streaming of Mister Rogers it will be there. I saw the episode recently (don't remember which year) on Amazon.

Your memory is quite good. Yeah the R2-D2 look-a-like had a tuxedo. Watching it now you realize what a complete waste of junk that was.
