Hel with Danny episode

I have a memory of an H-5-0 episode focusing on Danny Williams. For some reason Danny is arrested but he is without any ID. Basically it's about the other side of the system. Danny is in jail. Maybe he's out of his jurisdiction like on the Mainland? At some point he stops cooperating and is mistreated.

The MIGHT be from an entire different series with a younger cop partner. It's NOT Streets of SF.

Any ideas folks?

Thank You.

I'm inclined to believe the episode you remember is from a different series. I've seen all of Seasons 1-9 and most of Season 10, and the plot you describe doesn't sound familiar to me.

Sounds like the 1972 Ironside episode Nightmare Trip to me...in that episode, Ed went to San Diego to pick up a prisoner and also to pay a visit to a buddy at the naval base down there. He winds up getting mugged and having his I.D. stolen. A pair of cops played by Jack Ging and Rudy Solari stop him, thinking him to be a drunk. Ed decides then and there to fight them and get arrested. He winds up in a cell with psycho Don Stroud and the World's Most Interesting Man, Jonathan Lippe, and through voiceovers, we get insights into both of their characters, and Stroud threatens to beat the crap out of Ed, who now realizes that this was a dumb idea. Ironside and Mark show up to report Ed missing, but the big Chief sees Ed in a cell and realizes what Ed is trying to do. He tells Mark it's Ed's "walk to Calvary" and that they shouldn't intervene. Finally, Ed goes berserk and screams that he's hd enough. The Desk Sergeant lets him out and berates him, telling him if he ever has to pick up another prisoner, to do it in any city other than San Diego.
