I recall an episode in which there was a plot point about a tourist having taken a photo of a suspect's car. Somehow the photo becomes public, but it is too blurry to make out the license plate. The head of the crime lab (Che Fong?) thinks that they can sharpen the photo if only they had the camera's original lens, so the hunt is on for the tourist who took the photo.
Anybody know which episode this is?

Thanks! It's interesting how my memory "enhanced" the technology they described. I was thinking they were doing some kind of reverse ray-tracing to sharpen the image and they needed the tourist's camera lens for that. I'm not sure if that's possible, which is why I was interested in this question. With your help, I was able to watch the episode.
