Familiar filming location

In the 2nd season episode Child Stealer, I had to laugh when I saw where they ended up when Adam-12 was chasing the guy who "kidnapped" the baby. Here are some pics.

Some fans will recognize that the trestle bridge and overpass were also used for numerous stock shots on sister show Emergency! No idea how many times (maybe only this once) the location was used on Adam-12, but on Emergency! it's used often enough to have its own drinking game.

There are lots of backlot locations you see several times on the show.

The other day though I was watching an episode from season 6 - forget the title - the one with the sniper at the movie studio - I recognized the location immediately as the town square and shops I just saw on an episode of Combat the weekend before. Exactly the same but without the WWII era vehicles and Nazi-dressed extras. And as Reed and Malloy were talking to the studio personnel to get their exact location they named off streets that sounded straight from that episode of Combat - German Square, European Street. . .
