Wow.. just... wow

That's all I can say. This was the only Hepburn film I had not seen that I wished to see (the only ones I haven't seen are War and Peace, Love in the Afternoon, Green Mansions, and parts of The Unforgiven, The The Nuns Story, and The Children's Hour)... I just bought it last night and watched it the instant I got home. It is undoubtedly one of Audrey Hepburn's most underrated films. The dialoge is marvelous and terribly charming. It's a true classic, although it is extremely ahead of it's time.

Oh, I almost forgot... the clothes are to die for!

"There are certain shades of limelight that can wreck a girl's complexion."

I just watched it this evening. Like you, I have to say "wow". It was a movie before its time and "is undoubtedly one of Audrey Hepburn's most underrated films". Sometimes you have to stay on your toes to figure out where they're at in their relationship. If you can keep track of Hepburn's hairstyles, it can be achieved. But the transitions were well done.

If I had to pick between The Way We Were (what my mom insisted on me watching) and Two For The Road, this movie is far much better. WOW! I've never laughed so hard while watching a movie from this era.

I just remember when I watched it on TV many years ago. It's true , becuase back then after commercial interruptions, the announcer would say, "We will now return to "Two for the Road, starring Audrey Hepburn".

As a huge Hepburn fan, I had not seen this film either but found it at my public library a few months ago and was completely blown away by it...one of the most sophisticated, witty, and intelligent films of the 1960's and Hepburn, as always, was enchanting.

I agree with your opinion: I watched this film last week, and I can't get it out of my head. I also agree with the poster who said you should watch The Children's Hour. It's an amazing film, also way ahead of its time.
