Come on people! This movie paved the way for so many of those inspirational overcombing the odds movies!! Lean on Me would have never existed as well as countless others! This movies is fantastic!! 10/10
shareI'd say "Lean on Me" owes more to the reality of Joe Louis Clark than to this film, but yes, "To Sir, With Love" is excellent -- better than "Lean on Me," in fact.
shareA 7.5 average is actually quite a good score on IMDb, Lean On Me currently sits at a 7.1 so I don't see what the problem is. Anyway, I thought that To Sir, With Love was very good but I still prefer some of the other "remedial school" movies over this one. Sidney Poitier is fantastic however.
