Even though the 'delinquents' were a quaint lot I enjoyed the fim, love Sidney Poitier, quite liked the music and yes, the theme song was seriously hackneyed and overdone. But the dancing....laughable! While hopping and jiggling and swinging their arms out of time with the music, they thought they were so cool...

I remember my parents, being 'shocked' when I showed them the way we danced in 1966. HA HA
(Well, at least we didn't need revolting chemicals flowing through our systems in order to have a good dance.)
