I am wondering when (if) Point Blank is to be released on DVD. Its crazy this film which was made in 2:35 to 1 is only available on VHS and in full screen.

Yeah just saw it on TCM and you know what those lovely people did? Put it in the correct widescreen ratio AND they supplied a nice 20 minute documentary called The Rock, made on set, involving behind the scenes stuff and interviews with Boorman. Very interesting stuff too- mainly concerning directorial touches and characterisation. Cool watching Lee Marvin kick back between takes too. Look out for it.

"Point Blank" is finally available on DVD :-)
It features the documentary "The Rock" (see Super_Fu_Manchu's comment) and an audio commentary by John Boorman ...and Steven Soderbergh (!)
