One of the most underrated films of all time
Still, few if any films surpass Point Blank. John Boorman´s direction is one of the most intelligent I have seen. A Swedish director had this film when it was the weekly "Film-tip" in the Swedish TV-programme "Film-News" with famous programme-leader Orvar Säfström (who also claims that it is a super-film). He gave most attention to the great scene when Walker goes throw the corridore, with the loud, aggresive step-sounds.
It was funny that someone here at the Point Blank boards claim this film to be the worst ever. Worse than all other films? How? It is interesting to know what that person meant, and how he could felt that.
We still wait for a DVD-release of this film.
