I love all three movies each on their own terms.

Prime Cut is worth viewing if only to see Lee and Gene Hackman go toe to toe.

reply

oh yeah. it's fun.

His name...was Julio Iglesias!

The Killers [(1964) as opposed to its predecessor (1946)] shows Marvin at his drunkest, if not meanest. The last scene was purportedly shot with Lee having shown up hours late to the set, 3 sheets to the wind. He nails it anyway.

Great film The Killers (1964), man Lee could act, drunk or sober.....

you oughtta check out a Fritz Lang film called "The Big Heat"...

Marvin plays only a supporting role, but he's easily the most memorable part of the film. He's definitely at his most ruthless... and possibly youngest, as it's the darkest I've ever seen his hair.

I've been wanting to see Prime Cut for a while now. The combination of Lee Marvin and Gene Hackman sounds very promising.
