shareI never thought of Kaa as a pedophile when watching the movie as a kid, but a few days ago I heard the song on a CD and out of context I will admit the song sounded extremely pedophile like.
Within the context of the story, Kaa is just trying to eat Mowgli, but I do think there is a subtext to the song. And I don't necessarily think that is a bad thing since the message is clearly sent to kids to stay away from anyone who acts like Kaa.
Kaa is not a pedophile.

I've seen enough Sonic the Hedgehog and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic crossover fanworks with him on DeviantArt that I agree completely. Having said that, even though they had the same voice actor, I was NOT prepared to find out that Kaa had the EXACT SAME VOICE as Winnie the Pooh!!!!!!! Childhood ruined.
