Did anyone ever wonder if the man village Mowgli goes to in the end.....

Is probably the residence of the mother/parents who originally left him in the forest to begin with? Is it ever explained where the people/person who left him in the forest came from? I mean there seems to be one man village that the animals want to take him to so I assume that is either the only one or the closest one. I suppose the other explanation could be the people/person who left him there live somewhere far away and was just passing by?

The boat in the beginning of the movie is broken so I assume they died

This IS a Disney film, after all. They specialize in killing off parents.

Yeah, they always kill off the parents in the movies, but in the book Mowgli wandered away from his parents and it was strongly implied he was reunited with them in the man village.
