Did Feldon's outfit inspire Scooby Doo's Velma?
The orange sweater, the glasses and the haircut. Or did Scooby Doo predate this movie?

Scooby Doo premiered in September 1969. Fitzwilly premiered December 1967. I think there is zero chance that Juliet's look in Fitzwilly and Velma's look in Scooby Doo are coincidence. I mean the orange turtleneck sweater, the hair, the glasses. Everything is there.
So this leads me to the question of why is Fitzwilly so under the radar when it inspired an iconic cartoon character's appearance? I had never heard of Fitzwilly until today when I literally stumbled onto it. Great movie.
