Yeah Yeah I know...before everyone gets all uptight, I'm just saying if they DID do a remake, it'd be cool. More of a caper film. Like 'Bad santa' but without the drinking, homicidal midgets, and obscenities.

George Clooney as Fitzwilly, hands down.
He'd be great doing the multiple roles that
Fitzwilly assumes in all his capers.

Trouble is, I think, is it's a bit too close
to the Oceans 11 / 12 / 13 personna.

Fitzwilly is ripe for a remake. It's a great story and would be fantastic in a redo. I'm surprised it hasn't been done already because remakes are everywhere.

I see the OP is from the IMDb glory days of 2006 which makes me nostalgic and sad simultaneously.
