I hear the phrase fearless vampire killers in a lot of punk music, especially by the bad brains. Anyone know why?

shareIt was originaly the title of a bad brains song, and a couple of the guys from the cro mags are also touring under the name of the fearless vampire killers right now.
shareI know nothing about any of the bands mentioned but my suggestion would be to watch the movie. Although a simple answer would be that it's extremely common for bands to make references to movies because the members are simply fans. Punk bands especially have a tendency to make references to obscure movies.
