Which Version Is It On DVD?
Which version is it that is available on the UK DVD release? Hope it is the original!

The version I have which is the official MGM release here in the states is the longer Polanski prefered (or restored director's cut) version.
It does not include the original theatrical release animated intro and is skimpy as far as extras go (though there is a short promo that is actually kinda long come to think of it!).
No commentary.
The R2 (UK) DVD does not include the animated vapire hunting cartoon swhich was added to the US release but it does include the MGM lion changing into a vampire and dripping blood over the credits roll. I hope one day they re-release the DVD with both versions!
...now I do it just to watch their f----n' expression change.
