Better or Worse Than "What's New Pussycat" ?

I was going to work my way through Woody's back catalog, a movie a week for a year (approximately). After subjecting myself to the very cringe worthy "What's New Pussycat", am not really very excited to see another punishing cultural relic. Can anyone offer their opinion on the question I asked in the title? I thank you in advance.

I have seen most if not all of the films. The good ones, like "Annie Hall", seem to hold up.

And obviously he is a horrible human being. I have decided I am not going to limit myself to enjoying art made by saints, as if that were even possible.

Well, I enjoyed both of these movies, while recognizing their, shall we say, weak points...if you didn't like the first, it's safe to say you wouldn't like this one a lot more.

Still, say what you will about Woody Allen (and people will say), he delivers the best laughs this movie has to offer, appearing in it only in the last 20 minutes (and a quick scene earlier on). You can see where he was heading with his 'early, funny movies'. He actively disavowed himself from the movie, but his scenes have his distinctive stamp.

I loved Woody in this. But then, I love him in nearly everything he's done.

Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!
