Top Ten Prisoner Babes

Admittedly, this topic is from the shallow end of the Prisoner spectrum of discussion. However, The Prisoner was a television show and as such it made use of attractive women when it could; besides, honeytraps have been around as long as espionage has.

So, here are my top ten Prisoner babes, in reverse order. Who are yours? And feel free to list Prisoner hunks if you are so inclined, either in this topic or in a new one.

10. Virginia Maskell, "The Woman" in "Arrival"
9. Annette Carrell, "B." in "A., B. and C."
8. Rachel Herbert, "Number Fifty-Eight" in "Free for All"
7. Nadia Gray, "Number Eight" in "The Chimes of Big Ben"
6. Wanda Ventham, "Computer Attendant" in "It's Your Funeral"
5. Angela Browne, "Number Eighty-Six" in "A Change of Mind"
4. Jane Merrow, "Alison"/"Number Twenty-Four" in "The Schizoid Man"
3. Justine Lord, "Sonia" in "The Girl Who Was Death"
2. Annette Andre, "Watchmaker's Daughter" in "It's Your Funeral"
1. Valerie French, "Kathy" in "Living in Harmony"

Be seeing you. And them.

How could you leave Denise Buckley (Maid/Marie Antoinette/Queen Elizabeth I in "Dance of the Dead") out of the list?

Because she didn't make the cut for me. Maybe for you or others.

Nice list, michaellevenson1. Better, because it includes Denise Buckley. But I haven't watched all the episodes yet. When our group comes to the final round, we can bring this point up again. It would be fun.

Chauvinistically we could do this again, and objectify women in every show. (Just kidding Well, if we had ladies in our group we could elect the best "hunks" as well.)

By the way, in my list I would include Hilary Heath, Number 73 from "Hammer Into Anvil." Her participation was brief, but remarkable.

If you want to see Denise Buckley in a more extended role try IN THE STEPS OF A DEAD MAN ,an episode of ATV,s 1970's THRILLER series created by Brian Clemens.

Thanks. I'll see if I can find that. Seems hard though.

Three, actually:

1. "A Date with Doris"
2. "A Room in the Basement"
3. "The Man Who Wouldn't Talk"

However, her characters in "Date" and "Man" were pretty similar types--both Young Communist/Revolutionary True Believers employed to act as a guide/minder to John Drake.

Off the top of my head, Angela Browne and Wanda Ventham were also Danger Man alumnae; a couple of the others may also have been.

The cab driver from the very first episode was quite pretty.

Yeah, but you wouldn't get very far with her.

Just the ones who really appeal to me, first in no particular order:

Rachel Herbert (as the ingenue maid, rather than the austere No. 2)
Justine Lord (she can lob hand grenades at me any time)
Annette Andre (also liked in Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased))
Jane Merrow (Earnest and wholesome)

And my #1: Angela Browne. Posh totty on steroids. Particularly effective when she's tripping balls.
