Gloster Meteor jet Mk T7 1/2 two seat trainer

In Many Happy Returns we see Number Six eject out of a jet. It's odd that they used what I take as a WWII jet for this effect. But maybe that's all they could get, instead of something contemporary. They actual ground footage with Number Six and not just stock footage.

I take it that it's a Gloster Meteor jet Mk T7 1/2 two seat trainer, with Martin Baker ejection seat. Correct? Great sequence!

According to its Wiki article, the T.7 remained in RAF service into the 1970s. For the reconnaissance mission it was on in "Returns," that doesn't seem so odd.
