Band: The Hook
This ep just aired on RTV, and it was good to see a functional band (no miming actors) used for a change. I thought the lead guitarist, a man who greatly resembled Mike Nesmith of The Monkees, was especially good, and the group added to the authenticity of this ep. It was clever to have them hit a riff from Quincy Jones's theme music for the show, too.
Season 1, ep. 26, Trip to Hashbury.

The Hook
TV Show: IRONSIDE
Episode Title: "A Trip To Hashbury"

Comments: Hook was ex-Leaves Bobby Arlin's band. They appear in two great scenes inside a hippie drug commune. Raymond Burr watches the second song from his ever-present wheelchair in a classic stoic stareā¦ The Hook's music is featured for almost 10 minutes in this episode.
