Actor Don Mitchell has died. Mr Mitchell passed away on December 8, 2013 in Encino, California. He of course was best known as Mark Sanger and appeared on Ironside for the entire run of the series. Don Mitchell was 70-years-old.
shareSo sad to hear this news. Mark was one of the more interesting television characters. Most long-running characters are set in stone, but we saw Mark grow through the seasons as beautifully played by Don Mitchell.

I was so sad to hear of Don Mitchell's death during a broadcast of Ironside in December. I always thought the conversations between Mark and the Chief revealed more about Ironside. Now the Chief and Mark are together again.
