nice to see Don Galloway in several of these, not to mention of course Barbara Hale(della street)

shareI kept forgetting they were on so I usually didn't watch more than just a little bit here or there (until my 'real' shows came on). Personally I hated hearing Barbara Hale. She had that really throaty voice of a heavy smoker. Made me shudder. But I did like Burr w/ the Vandyke beard. :-)
shareI have recorded a couple of them, and of course, I watched the last Perry Mason movie, since it was the last movie that Raymond Burr made before his death. He did not look well in that movie, because he was in so much pain, that he had to use a wheelchair when he was not on camera. That brought a tear to my eye. It was good to see Don Galloway in some of the movies, since Raymond Burr and he were friends off camera. I like the older Perry Mason than the younger one. That's also why I prefer Raymond Burr's role as Ironside over Perry Mason. To me, Ironside was more of a challenge for Raymond Burr. He had to hit his marks with the wheelchair, remember which way to turn the wheelchair, remember his dialogue, try not to move his legs, and occasionally show his ability to get out of or into a wheelchair on camera. He managed to to all of that and impress me when I watched him.
