Location of Ironside's bedroom

Watching the last two episodes, I now know that the Chief was moved into a bedroom, apparently within the office/apartment. I think it is down the hallway from the sliding door near the front door. When Ed entered the Chief's room in the episode "Setup: Danger", he appears to walk up a ramp. What confuses me is the episode, "Run Scared", Ironside is talking to his niece in his bedroom and then he opens shutters on a square window which reveals the room where the pool table used to be located. I went back to the fifth season episodes to see where that window is located, but I see only the half Romanesque window in the one corner. Can anyone explain where this window is, or did they take license the design of the building?
