Removal of Ironside Again From ME-TV

I just found out on a website that ME-TV is again removing Ironside from their schedule. I wrote a strong message to them to let them know of my displeasure at this. They didn't even finish this run! Unfortunately, they never write an email back to respond to messages that are sent. I would suggest getting on their website and writing a message to let them know that the fans are not happy.

I just found time to look at the MeTV new line-up for January. Like you, I was very disappointed to see that they've removed Ironside. Currently, it airs so late (the middle of the night practically for me), that I barely catch one episode a week! I don't have all of that fancy recording stuff for my TV, so if I can't see it when it's showing on MeTV in the middle of the night, I lose out.
I've written a few e-mails to MeTV over the past year and I only heard back from them when I praised them for their line-up which included Perry Mason twice a day. When they moved Ironside from their daytime line-up, I sent a nicely-worded e-mail telling them of my disappointment and never heard a word back. Same thing happened when I let them know how disappointed I was when they removed it last spring.
If I could afford it, I would just buy Ironside on DVD, but they only have a few full seasons out so far. I'll be writing to MeTV again. This time I'll suggest that they at least put it in their line-up once a week (like Sundays after Streets of San Francisco). I wonder if I'll hear back when I make a positive suggestion?

I wrote a letter to Neil Sabin at ME-TV tell him why Ironside means so much to me and asking why it has been removed twice from the network. I also made the same suggestion about returning it to Sundays once a week after Streets of San Francisco. I mentioned that some of the fans, like you, don't have a way to record episodes. So far, I haven't received any response. You should still write a letter. The more that they hear from us, the more possibility that they will return Ironside. I am not impressed with how ME-TV honors some series on anniversaries, but doesn't do a thing for others. Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, another series I enjoy, just celebrated their 50th anniversary. Not one word from ME-TV about it. Also, the 100th anniversary of Richard Basehart's birth was also this year, but again nothing from ME-TV. If you want to write Neil Sabin, the address is 26 N. Halsted Street Chicago, IL 60661. He has been in charge of the programming, but was just promoted, but it seems he still is the one to contact. I have recorded all but 5 episodes, but I don't have a way to duplicate them. I am glad to be able to share thoughts about Ironside with someone who also enjoys the series. I am thinking about starting a Facebook page, if I can find the time, for fans of Ironside. There is one for Voyage to the Bottom of the Seas fans, and maybe even one for Perry Mason fans, but nothing for Ironside.
