Ironside's foster daughter in "Joss Sticks and Wedding Bells"

Watching today's episode "Joss Sticks and Wedding Bells", I wonder if Raymond Burr had som e imput into the writing of the episode. He has several foster children in real life, so he would be an "expert" on helping foster children.

The episode description sounded cringe worthy, but it was better than I thought it would be. I have no doubt that Burr had an influence on the stories told, directly or indirectly.

I am sure Raymond had plenty of influence. After all it was his production company that produced the show. I have seen every episode over and over and a bit of Raymond Burr seeps into some of the episode such as the foster daughter. Another example was in the made for TV movie "The Return of Ironside". Ironside and his wife had a vineyard. Sound familar?
