Buck's Vest

The western outfits worn by the cast of THC were all cool looking but Buck's all black outfit was my favorite.I really liked his vest which was a longer length vest than the traditional ones you see.For some reason though he hardly ever wore it by the fourth & final season & that was a shame.I read that Cameron Mitchell had quite an advantage over the rest of the cast when they were shooting the show on those blistering hot days in Arizona.Black clothing doesn't reflect being wet much for the camera.So between takes Cameron would hop in a horse trough or whatever nearby water source was available in order to cool off.The rest of the cast envied him as they were unable to do the same thing because their clothing would show up as wet for the camera.Then again,we know that black clothing absorbs heat very well & if you live in a scorching area black is the last color clothing you want to wear.
