I think she is also French and Italian by ancestry, so not Hispanic either. But she is an actress playing a part. Nobody said she had to be Mexican any more than Cam Mitchell had to be from Virginia.

Being from Argentina, Linda Cristal no doubt spoke Spanish even if she is not ethnically Hispanic (just as Americans whose ancestors came from Italy or China or Gabon speak English).
