Flying, FX shots

Aside from some visible matte lines and piano wires, the flying FX shots of Sister Bertrille flying around work well. They look almost as good as those used in Superman(1978) or in the 1940 's Captain Marvel serial. I wonder who the FX wizards were?

they seem more noticeable in the remasted dvd then when it was when shown on tv
they were harldy noticeable

hope it was strong wires ;) poor sally wonder if she was nervous when she first did the flying scene
