Juvenile: DR-35 (3 Apr. 1969) Teen Pregnancy

I think this episode of Dragnet is in the top three, if not the best episode produced.

The theme is relevant today as it was 45 years ago in 1969.

It was sad, and hard to watch at times because of the truth it exemplifies with juveniles, which we all went through growing up.

Michele Grumet was excellent in it, everyone was.

While seeing the reruns M-F it is a pain to see the very same actors used over in 6, 8 10 or more episodes. Every show I see s recycled actor.

I never said or meant to imply the episode was "typical", only that it is as relevant today as it was 45 years ago- and there have always been teenage mothers who have abandoned babies, some in trash cans. Less than two months ago;

"Teen mom accused of abandoning baby in dumpster"

As for the actors, as I said, seeing the same ones day after day is a pain.

I know, and that is why it is so real, because that kind of behavior happens, and not just with teenagers.

She was not a teen. She was 20 something.
