Female Hippie Loser: "what are you doin' to my kids!!?? I love my kids!!"

Hispanic Police Detective: "Yeah. From the looks of this place, it really shows, Lady!"

reply

Flower power, man!

reply

Hey, when you're that high that often, you lose track of time, man.

reply

Sorry man, maid's day off.
When Friday looks at the two children he looks so old.

reply

That far out groovy character with the funny one liner: "Sorry man, it's the maids day off." Didn't he look a lot like Charlie Manson? And this was before he was apprehended. So did he presage the real Charlie? How could people that despicable really exist? Yet they do!

Yes manson acted out of hate and wanting revenge against a society he thought wronged him. Maybe it did, but his craziness was unwarranted and despicable. He killed the 1960s too. After him every counter culture character was a drug crazed homicidal maniac. And he was never really punished either.

And disco!!!

reply

You know, I remember hating disco, but at this point I'll take it over that hip hop garbage or that heavy metal racket that sounds like somebody puking. The older I get, the more I like the BeeGees.

That's true. It got bad back then, and now it's become nothing but noise pollution. But I have to admit I do feel a bit of nostalgia with that late '70s music. I graduated from high school in 1978 and get a kick out of looking at all those old yearbook pictures now. And then when I see kids now who can't even wear a pair of pants correctly I realize things have gone from dumb to dumber...LOL.

I graduated from HS in 1979 and I bring out the Yearbook ever so often too. It's fun looking back at the Long Hair I had which I no longer have. The late 70's was quite a time no cellphones, no PC's, no Social Media etc. But we still had great times as a teen hanging out at the Arcade playing pinball, listening to records and just being young.
