Jack Webb was a jazz fan. He made the film "Pete Kelly's Blues". He must've had musician friends who partook of the weed. I wonder if he was as anti- pot in real life, as he was as Sgt. Friday?

I've often wondered the same thing. No question he was a heavy smoker of tobacco. I'm sure this contributed to his death by heat attack at only age 62
